ALL YOU NEED IS LUCK
Based on Paul Tennants book of the same name the screenplay has been written by writer, director, producer Peter Foldy. It is the true story of Focal Point, the first band signed by The Beatles to the Apple record label.
Its 1967 - the famous Summer of Love. The Beatles really did rule the world, and they held court in their playground - swinging London. Were talking Carnaby Street, Mini Skirts, World Cup Willie, The Kings Road, Union Jack Minis and Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band.
Three young musicians in Liverpool were planning their way to be the next Beatles, and little did they know how their lives were going to change. A simple trip to London was all that was planned but it led them to the centre of a world they could only have dreamed about in the terraces of Liverpool.
A fateful wrong turn led them to Paul McCartneys house. What followed was an incredible car chase through the streets of London and the beginning of an adventure that was to change their lives forever.
This is a timeless true story of heartache, achievement, true grit and hope for every young musician dreaming of fame and fortune. It shows just what is possible if you believe enough and you are willing to go out and make it happen.
All You Need Is Luck is a journey that runs the gamut of emotions from deepest heartache to the very heights of happiness. It culminates in a final chase that will leave you breathless.
Its an engaging and enjoyable Cinderella story that provides a real and fascinating insight into the hopes, the dreams - and the nightmares of a decade where people really did believe that to change the world, all they needed was love.
